Joke aside, I'd share my how I see blogging... I don't see it sensible to place family members, love interests and so on who people can recognize in public. You can see babie's pics only because they change very fast, and nobody recognize babies.
Also, there is no need to care about how others think. Blogging is like your private parts, you don't need other people's hands on them.
You are a member of Nuffnang... if you want revenue from it, you will have to 'attract' those chee hongs in EDMW and other sites.
Three things people will flood to a girl's site: 1. Sex. 2. Sex scandal. 3. You are already famous.
You can also buy 'fake hits', the cost will be offset by revenue from Nuffnang and other commercial opportunities coming your way.
But still... provided you have a personality like myself who doesn't care about the world... if you intend your blog to be read, and you are the type who'd be bothered about their crap views from ANY directions...
Then good luck.
And having your loved ones illustrated could bring remarks of any sorts... Your sister is prettier than you, don't you want to protect her from the chee hongs? LOL~
